Use and distribution

License information

Roux is proprietary software licensed by UB Nandakumar. Using the website or the demo accounts does not transfer ownership or grant production, redistribution, derivative-work, or source-code rights.

In brief: commercial, production, redistribution, source, support, or acquisition rights exist only under an applicable written agreement.

Roux software

Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, all rights in Roux, its source code, product design, documentation, and release artifacts are reserved. A commercial agreement should define the licensed product and version, users, environments, deployment scope, term, support, warranties, liability, data handling, audit rights, termination, and any redistribution or escrow rights.

Demo accounts

The demo accounts listed on the sign-in page are for evaluation only. They do not authorize security testing, disruption of the hosted service, bulk extraction, or use of Roux in a production workflow. The sample workspace and its availability may change.

Third-party software

Roux uses third-party software under the licenses selected by its respective authors. Those licenses apply to the third-party components; they do not change the proprietary status of Roux source or grant rights to Roux itself.

The table lists the third-party packages Roux depends on directly, with the versions this release locks. It is a readable summary; the complete notices, including indirect dependencies, are in the files linked below.

The table shows 13 direct runtime dependencies. The complete notices also cover their own dependencies, platform-specific optional packages, and the tools used only to build Roux.

Complete third-party notices

The complete notice reproduces the license text of every component in this release. A companion manifest records the version and the digests needed to verify it, and this site is not published unless both files match the release.

This website's typeface

This website uses the IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono typefaces, served from this site under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The license and the attribution notice are published beside the font files.

No professional advice or certification claim

Roux is domain-agnostic software. A sample workflow involving healthcare, finance, science, or another regulated domain does not make the sample data real, provide professional advice, or certify a customer deployment against a regulation. Suitability depends on the customer's intended use, configuration, controls, validation, evidence, and agreement.
